Der Drenthepad
Der Drenthepad ist der älteste ausgeschilderte Fernwanderweg der Niederlanden. Offiziell beginnt er am Bahnhof von Beilen. Die rund 360 Kilometer  lange Strecke furt drei Nationalparks uns zwei UNESCO-gebiete. De wanderweg is in Geld-Rot ausgeschildert.

Wandern Sie im Herzen von Drenthe durch ein dynamisches Naturschutzgebiet mit ausgedehnten Wäldern und ausgedehnten Heidelandschaften. Hier entdecken Sie die wilde Schönheit der Natur von Drenthe. Sie erreichen das Nationaldenkmal Westerbork, eines der markantesten und fesselndsten Kriegsdenkmäler, ein historischer Ort, der Sie sprachlos machen wird. Wenn man die Eindrücke vom Kamp Westerbork verarbeitet hat und feststellt, dass nur 5.000 Menschen zurückgekehrt sind, hinterlassen die Schläferdenkmäler eine ebenso große Wirkung.

The Drenthepad
The Drenthepad, the oldest signposted long-distance footpath in the Netherlands, officially begins its scenic journey. The trail spans more than 360 kilometres, passing through three National Parks and two UNESCO areas. The path is waymarked with yellow/red signs.

Stage 19.
In the heart of Drenthe, walk through a dynamic nature reserve with vast forests and wide heathlands. Here you will discover the wild beauty of Drenthe’s nature. You will arrive at the National Monument Westerbork, one of the most striking and impressive war memorials, a historical place to be silent about. When you have processed the impressions of Camp Westerbork and realize that only 5000 people returned, the sleeper monuments make an equally big impact.
